Ross Douthat

 

Ross Douthat, New York Times Op-Ed Columnist and AuthorNew York Times Op-Ed Columnist and Author.  Ross Douthat graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 2002, where he was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In April 2009, he became the youngest Op-Ed Columnist in the history of the New York Times. He was a senior editor at The Atlantic and is the author of Privilege: Harvard and the Education of the Ruling Class. He is the co-author, with Reihan Salam, of Grand New Party: How Republicans Can Win the Working Class and Save the American Dream.

 

A film critic for National Review, Douthat has also contributed to The New York Times, The Weekly Standard, Policy Review, Details, The Harvard Crimson,  the Claremont Review of Books, GQ, Slate, and other publications. In addition, he frequently appears on the video debate site Bloggingheads.tv.
