Paul Bhatti

Paul Bhatti, Pakistani Federal Minister for Minorities AffairsPaul Bhatti is the Pakistani Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs and brother of Shahbaz Bhatti, the Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs assassinated on March 2, 2011.

Since receiving a Medical Doctorate from the University of Padua in Italy in 1984, he has worked as a medical doctor in various hospitals in Pakistan and Italy. In 2011, he was appointed Chairman of the All Pakistan Minorities Alliance. Besides being appointed as Minister of National Harmony and Minority Affairs, since April 2011 Bhatti has served as the Chairperson of the Shahbaz Bhatti Memorial Trust, named for his late brother.
