Jane Milosch

Jane Milosch, Director, Provenance Research Initiative, Office of the Under Secretary for History, Art, and Culture, at the Smithsonian InstitutionJane Milosch is Director of the Provenance Research Initiative, Office of the Under Secretary for History, Art, and Culture, at the Smithsonian Institution. She oversees the WWII-Era Provenance Research Project and other cultural heritage work. She was previously Senior Program Officer for Art, directing pan-institutional art programs and new interdisciplinary initiatives, and formerly chief curator at the Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian American Art Museum. Her areas of expertise include modern and contemporary art, design, and decorative arts.
