12:00 PM A Star Is Born! A presentation and a virtual journey back through space and time. Star formation in the latest stunning images from the Hubble Space Telescope with Massimo Robberto, Full Scientist at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, the operation center for the Hubble Space Telescope and the future James Webb Space Telescope.
8:30 PM "The Truest Expression of a People Is in its Dance and in its Music." (Agnes de Mille) An evening of folk dances from Korea, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, and the Ukraine. Tickets are $15. (This is the only paid event--all others are free.) Open seating. Performances by: JUNG Traditional Korean Dance Academy, Barynya Russian Dance Ensemble, and more.

4:00 PM William Congdon: Painting to the Depths of Reality A documentary on an action painter rediscovered, presented by Jane MILOSCH, Director, Provenance Research Initiative, Office of the Undersecretary for History, Art, and Culture, at the Smithsonian Institution.
5:30 PM "Either We Depend on God or on Power": The Case of the Arab Spring A discussion about the events in Arab countries and the role of religion in the fight for freedom, with Frank ANDERSON, Former Chief, Near East Division, Directorate of Operations, CIA and Wael FAROUQ, Professor of the Arabic Language Institute at the American University in Cairo.
