The "Rimini Meeting": An Extraordinary Example of Faith Lived in the Public Square

At the 2010 New York Encounter, we offered eyewitness accounts of the largest week-long public cultural Catholic event in the world. The Rimini Meeting for 30 years has sought to create points of contact between experiences and people of different faiths and cultures.

This event featured keyone John Sexton, President of New York University, as well as Brad Gregory, Associate Professor of History, University of Notre Dame, Emilia Guarnieri, President of the "Rimini Meeting" Foundation, Dr. Daniel Sulmasy, Professor of Medicine and Ethics, University of Chicago, and Dr. Joseph Weiler, Joseph Strauss Professor of Law, New York University
